Position Summary

908 Devices is looking for a self-motivated, eager to learn, organized and detail oriented digital marketing intern. The Digital Marketing Intern will work collaboratively with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager in an effort to build content for the website and other platforms and edit web pages to improve SEO. This includes conducting key word research and utilizing those findings in content creation. The Digital Marketing Intern will work with Campaign Managers, Strategic Marketing, and Applications experts to gain valuable insights and knowledge on products and applications, ensuring context is articulated for the field. Key word research will also be used to help create, monitor, and make improvements to paid search ads.

Our ideal Intern candidate has a fundamental understanding of digital marketing best practices and would help create training on website best practices, such as image sizing, naming conventions, the use of alt tags, etc., in order to help train marketing team members that contribute to the website's growth. Additional projects include website cookie management and cookie tool implementation, as well as learning Google Analytics and documenting processes for the greater team to learn and utilize reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Key Word Research - Assist with key word research and SEO analysis.
  • Web Page Creation - Add content from select PDF documents (brochures, white papers) onto web pages to increase visibility on search engines and usability to improve user experience.
  • Web Page Updates - Assist with writing content summaries to increase the content on web pages. Assist with website updates, such as editing existing pages or creating new web pages (such as accessories/consumables pages).
  • Website Best Practices - Conduct research on marketing, digital, and website best practices, then document and implement those findings for continuous improvement. Conduct competitor analysis research for improvements.
  • Social Media - Improve YouTube presence by creating content summaries of videos and adding linkage back to our website. Review competitor YouTube accounts for ideas on how to improve.
  • Google Analytics Reporting - Learn GA4 and document processes so the greater team can self-serve for web metrics.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with basic graphic design (web design)
  • Familiarity preferred with website optimization and SEO tools, such as SEMRush, but will teach
  • Passion for marketing and eager to research the latest best practices and new technologies for enhancing user experience
