As a Marketing and Communications Co-op, you'll be an integral part of our North America Marketing team, contributing to several exciting projects and campaigns in 2024, including:

Internal Communications and Marketing program support:

  • Support the development of our annual external BCG Diversity, Equity & Inclusion reportâmanaging details and deliverables across a broad cross-functional working team.

  • Production support for photo and video shoots to support brand content.

  • Help drive the development of our very popular internal newsletter for all BCG North America staff (called âThe What You Might Have Missedâ) â gaining expertise in project management, content development, writing, editing, and using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Help create (write, design & distribute) our Office Digital Signage (using PowerPoint), which is displayed in every BCG North America office.

  • When needed, help our North America Marketing team develop and design other internal communications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

  • Draft engaging slack messages and social media post copy to help amplify our regional branding/marketing content.

  • Support of NAMR Events through creating key working decks (using Powerpoint) and supporting logistical details.


YOU'RE GOOD AT

  • We are looking for a candidate who has an entrepreneurial spirit and is comfortable thinking outside of the box.

  • âHas a passion for Marketing and Communications, with strong written and verbal communication skills and interest in writing, copy- editing, and identifying ways to best communicate defined objectives.

  • âThe job requires an individual with independent work skills, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and is pro-active in communicating.

  • âAn individual with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate well with others. You bring fun and positive energy to the office.

  • âProject management, planning, and coordination skills â demonstrated ability to excel in a complex environment and make progress on multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • âOne that is highly motivated, enjoys being challenged, and has good executive presence.


YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • The ideal candidate will have completed at least one prior co-op or internship experience in Marketing or Communications and has solid experience with Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in the Northeastern University Co-op Program

  • âMarketing, Advertising, Journalism, and/or Communications majors or experience preferred

  • âAn ideal candidate will be capable of working independently. They will also need to work well with a variety of stakeholders within the marketing department and the regional office teams, and collaborate with team members on multi-step projects

  • âMust be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) throughout the minimum duration of the co-op cycle (January-July), and be in the office 3-4 days a week in alignment with key marketing team members.

  • âMust be authorized to work in the United States

We work to strengthen and protect BCGâs brand, advance our business agenda, and partner with management to engage with our key audiences through tools such as global thought-leadership publications, public relations, alumni outreach, recruitment marketing, and social media.
