About the Outpatient Forensic Therapist:

A local provider specializing in helping individuals address and overcome complex behavioral and psychological challenges is looking for Part-time Outpatient Forensic Therapists to work with clients who struggle with managing sexual behaviors, mental health issues, and domestic violence in their Lancaster County office. This role is crucial in reducing the risk of reoffending by addressing a broad spectrum of topics that contribute to problematic behaviors and helping clients move toward healthier and more responsible lifestyles

Using a Cognitive Behavioral Approach and a mix of group, individual, and family therapy, a team of dedicated forensic therapists collaborates to improve lives, change behavior patterns, and make the community better and safer. Clients include both court-mandated offenders and those seeking treatment on their own. If you are a Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) with a passion for changing lives and a willingness to work with a challenging population, please consider this opportunity.

Outpatient Forensic Therapist Qualifications:
  • REQUIRED: Master's or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Licensed or license-eligible in Pennsylvania (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • Specialized training or certification in sex offender treatment, domestic violence intervention, or forensic therapy preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals who struggle with sexual behavior issues, domestic violence, and mental health challenges
  • Strong knowledge of ethical considerations, risk management, relapse prevention, and mental health treatment approaches
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional boundaries in complex therapeutic environments
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical supervision
