Job Title: PCB Engineer (for Aerospace industry) Job Location: Redmond, WA 98052 Job Duration: 11 Months (Contract to hire) Pay Rate: $55/hr to $60/hr Job Description: Reason for Opening: Additional support needed for the PCB teams, especially for supplier visits and addressing engineering issues. Mission: Assist the PCB manufacturing teams to ensure the successful production of PCBs. Day to Day Responsibilities: DMF Portion: Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing, correct spacing, design, etc. Participation in Design: Involvement in design processes. Root-Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot PCBs and manufacturing processes to identify and correct issues. Supplier Qualification: Provide input to sourcing managers, quality teams, and suppliers. Collaboration: Work with various teams, including direct interaction with suppliers. Travel: Visit suppliers in Taiwan and Korea, with up to 50% travel. Must Have: Previous experience as a PCB engineer, designer, or layout specialist with extensive PCB knowledge. Not seeking a PCBA specialist (assembly knowledge not required). Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes and experience with complex PCBs. Key knowledge areas: Micro VIA, DFMA (Design for Manufacturability), supplier collaboration, managing PCB fabrication throughout the entire lifecycle. Understanding of TPM tools (MS Office, EFM tools, etc.) and general technical proficiency. Plusses: Experience in the aerospace industry. Strong communication skills. Leadership principles: Bias for action, learning and curiosity, and diving deep. Interview Process: Total of 3 rounds Initial interview with hiring manager. Two additional interviews with other team members.
