Industrial Engineer Supervisor

•Manage Industrial Engineers (IEs) at Vandalia engineering center, Troy headquarters, Queretaro technical center, and Matamoros operations
•Plan, manage and organize complex projects, resources, schedules, etc. to meet customer project imperatives
•Drive the IEs to follow the Product Development Process (PDP) and flawless project execution including but not limited to the facilitation and management of MSD workshops
•Lead, mentor, and coach IE team while developing and maintaining high employee involvement and morale across the team
•Effectively interface with Inteva team members and internal customers on a regular basis
•Support cost reduction initiatives
•Establish best practices and standardize procedures, documentation and processes throughout IE organization
•Lead and support cost estimates in support of new business pursuit
•Ensure assembly fixtures and tools are designed and delivered on time and meet the requirements for quality, safety, ergonomics, and cycle time
•Lead the implementation of Lean throughout the organization
•Lead standardization of the MSD process throughout organization
•Support corporate strategies as appropriate
Position Requirements
REQUIRED
•Strong degree of self-motivation and self-direction
•High degree of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
•Proven track record of leadership capabilities, analytical ability, problem solving skills, and oral and written communication skills
•Proven ability to work in a team environment as an active team member, group facilitator, and leader
•Ability to manage multiple tasks in a demanding situation
•Knowledge of the Inteva MSD process, interiors manufacturing, and assembly
•Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
•Proficient in Word, Excel, Power P
REFERRED
•Minimum of (5) years in automotive industry or industrial / manufacturing engineering
•Experience in manufacturing processes and equipment
•Operations experience
•Experience with AutoCAD
•Bilingual / Spanish speaking (not required but a plus)
Education Requirement
Bachelor's Degree (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred)
