ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage a team of direct and indirect reports by training, continuously mentoring, and managing performance.
  • Responsible for all Cash Management functions by monitoring day-to-day operations and cash flow. Additional tasks include, but are not limited to, maintaining banking relationships, new account opening, coordinating and approving outgoing wires, processing cash transfers, review and sign checks.
  • Manage and maintain various reports designed to help guide the executive management decision making process.
  • Assist the construction accounting team. Collaborate with the team to ensure project deliverables are met, review tasks, and drive process enhancement.
  • Responsible for preparation, review, and reporting of internal and external GAAP financial statements on a strict deadline. Including preparing and producing consolidated financial reporting.
  • Work on developing and enhancing internal controls. Coordinates with the Controller to prepare accounting policy and procedure manuals.
  • Work closely with other team members to analyze and resolve accounting issues as they are presented.
  • Ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Corporate Controller.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field from an accredited University
  • 3-5 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
  • Construction, real estate, and intercompany experience a plus
  • Sage Intacct accounting system experience preferred

  • Must have good interpersonal skills and be a team player
