We aim to provide comprehensive health care services to the communities we serve.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for knowing his/her professional scope of practice as defined by the California Business and Professional Code and for satisfactorily completing the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation period. Responsibilities include:
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.
Performing patient care services that support the physician/providers practice under clinical supervision.
Assisting in prepping patients for examinations or procedures.
Documenting patient concerns, messages, and care provided in the patient's medical record.
Administering medications as directed by the physician.
Providing leadership to support staff.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of a formal Registered Nurse program or equivalent military training.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9 coding procedures, and pharmacology appropriate to the Registered Nurse scope of practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year experience in an outpatient setting as a Registered Nurse.
Familiarity with an electronic practice management system.
Pay Range:
$48.44 - $57.48 /hour
