Summary: Provide overall on-site management on construction project site. RESPONSIBILITIES

Promote and maintain effective communications and relations with management, project management teams, authorized inspectors and engineer or client as required. Recruit, hire, train, mentor and supervise quality control personnel (including quality inspectors, and quality managers) Coordinate quality control staffing needs on projects and assign qualified personnel. Work with other districts as needed to share resources. Assist project teams in setting up the quality department and preparing for project kick-off and pre-job planning meetings. Assist in identifying the proper Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s), checklists, and other documentation for the project. Support project teams in the development and implementation of project quality plans and supplemental procedures as needed. Facilitate resolution of issues by working with Project Quality Managers and Project Managers. Monitor and report quality incidents. Liaison between authorized inspection agency and jurisdictional authorities. Assist in acquiring authorized inspection services to the projects. Research and answer technical questions; assist in the interpretation of construction codes and standards. Ensure that all project Quality Records is completed and submitted properly. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management/Engineering (preferred) At least Ten (10) years’ experience developing and implementing construction quality management programs in Infrastructure, EPC, OGC, or Power industry Ability to travel and relocate as needed Exceptional math, computer, verbal and written communication skills; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Effective organizational and time management skills Effective analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage a total of 1 to 7 employees in the field operations. Requirements: Overall knowledge and experience in site work construction such as earthmoving, dewatering, underground utility construction, road, and construction & surveying. Willingness to travel out of town or state. Education and Experience: Minimum of four years Heavy Civil Earthwork construction management and/or craft supervision experience. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, cost control schedules and safety required. Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills essential. Safety Considerations: The employee must frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Employee is required to wear personal protective equipment to include (but not limited to) hard hat, work boots, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and similar. Employee must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and must be approved prior to driving company owned or leased vehicles. May work 12 hours per day, 6-7 days per week in extreme hot and cold environments.
