Our Houston-based client is currently seeking a Receptionist to be the welcoming face and the organizational backbone of their office. As the Receptionist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of their office space and supporting their team members.

Responsibilities:

  • First Point of Contact: You will be the first person everyone sees when they walk into the office, creating a warm and professional atmosphere for visitors and employees.
  • Support to Team Member: Provide essential assistance to all, serving as their right-hand support in various administrative tasks.
  • Kitchen Management: Maintain kitchen machines, restock supplies, dispose of expired food items, and ensure the kitchen area clean and organized.
  • Office Maintenance: Ensure the entire office is clean and organized at all times, including turning on lights, maintaining supplies, and ensuring copy machines are stocked with paper.
  • Mail and Document Handling: Manage incoming/outgoing mail, maintain electronic files, and provide document-related support.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule conference rooms, assist with catering orders, and ensure smooth meetings.
  • Internal Communication: Send out internal office emails about visitor announcements, birthdays, and upcoming events to keep the team informed and engaged.
  • Event Planning: Participate in company-related social event planning.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of previous experience in a corporate front office or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to adapt and take on new responsibilities as needed.
