Reporting to the Software Quality Assurance Manager, you'll support the day-to-day operations of our Global Openings Studio development and support team. ASSA ABLOY is a worldwide leader dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and accessible building environment. Our global team of consultants work closely with architectural and construction professionals specifying and servicing door openings. We are known through Openings Studio, our award-winning software, used by architects, contractors, and owners to manage doors, hardware, and access control. This position is based in Phoenix, Arizona and must be available to work onsite upon the opening of our new office facility. Key responsibilities in this role include: Interact daily with users of Openings Studio desktop and mobile app including answering technical support questions, analyzing problems, and quickly forming solutions to resolve issues via email, phone, and chat, as a Tier 4/Global Support. Develop a deep, functional understanding of the software and its integration with other software programs. Continuously learn and train on changes and enhancements to improve troubleshooting and navigating processes and identification of bugs in the software execution. Maintain detailed records of daily interactions with customers, reported issues, and completed solutions along with any further actions required from development. Work with the divisions in supporting Openings Studio development, support, and sales teams to drive a successful customer experience by assisting all users of varied skill levels. Participate in software and mobile app testing for quality assurance on new and updated features, bug fixes, and key customer experience changes. Organize and manage project proposals, reports, documentation, and client follow-up. Set up and finalizing project details in Openings Studio. What you will be doing You are on the front line interacting daily with clients to ensure a first-in-class software experience. You are a reliable and dynamic "virtual" support and success manager depended on by our team and customers around the world. You will also support the ongoing improvement of Openings Studio, but reinforcing the needs of the customer with the daily interactions with the Openings Studio development team. What we are looking for You are a self-motivated, organized individual who is known for your follow-up habits. Attention to detail with strong time management and problem-solving skills. Your background includes a college degree. High proficiency in Microsoft Office and using computers and software applications in general. Prior experience in a construction/architectural office or a door and hardware distribution firm is advantageous.
