In our highly collaborative and global environment, you'll analyze the effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources and participate in the tactical planning for completion of identified project segment. Essentially, you'll perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems as well as perform technical activities which impact the proposal, system level design, detail design and manufacture of advanced electronics systems.

What You'll Experience:Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secretA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's nextOpportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discoveredWhat You Bring To The Table:A Bachelor's of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experienceSubject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge in adjacent disciplines/fieldsProficient understanding and application of engineering principles, concepts, practices, and standardsInterpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications to develop CNC programs for machining operationsUtilize CAD/CAM software (such as Bob Cad SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360) to create or modify part designs and generate tool paths for CNC machiningWrite, modify, and debug CNC programs using G-code and/or conversational programming languagesOptimize programs for efficiency, tool utilization, and surface finish while minimizing cycle timesConduct simulations and verify programs using CAD/CAM software or machine simulation tools to detect errors and ensure feasibilityMonitor machine operations to ensure compliance with programmed instructions, quality standards, and production schedulesTroubleshoot and resolve machining issues such as tool wear, dimensional deviations, and machine malfunctionsCreate or modify part designs using CAD software based on engineering specifications and requirementsEnsure CAD models are compatible with CNC machining processes and constraintsMake adjustments to CNC programs, machine settings, or part designs to meet quality requirementsParticipates in discussions related to the identification of cause of problems/issues in the defined project assignmentWhat Sets You Apart:Creative thinking with the ability to multi-taskCommitment to ongoing professional developmentTeam player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team successKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proven experience as a CNC programmer and operator, with proficiency in CAD designFamiliarity with multi-axis machining and various CNC controls is desirableProficiency in CAD/CAM software for part design and CNC programmingStrong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parametersAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specificationsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailEffective communication skills

Target salary range: USD $101,357.00/Yr. - USD $109,671.50/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Certificates/Security Clearances/Other

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Requires a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of job-related experience.
