Description

OnBoarding Specialist

Cullman Regional seeks a dedicated, articulate onboarding administrator to join our Human Resources team as the Onboarding Specialist. Supporting the full recruiting lifecycle and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience at hire and throughout employment, the Specialist partners with recruiters and hiring managers to facilitate these objectives. Cultivates relationships with clients and candidates, schedules onboarding appointments to include completion of employee health requirements, document requirements, and clearing background checks. The Specialist will be a great communicator who interacts well at all levels of the organization and enhances the new hire experience as a core focus, ensuring all interactions are high quality.

The Role
  • Conducts onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure a smooth integration into the organization
  • Welcomes new hires with details about Cullman Regional, onboarding details and guidance on new hire processes
  • Tracks all new hires and coordinate with appropriate resources, captures onboarding progression in Paycom for each new hire to include hiring manager tasks, and requirements per the position description
  • Collects all paperwork related to HR/Payroll including new hire information, tax form changes, address/pay changes and non-compete agreements
  • Orders background checks, and health and drug screenings for potential new hires
  • Performs a wide range of HRIS databases searches, retrieves and analyses data and creates reports
  • Seeks opportunities for process improvement, streamlines and systematizes processes, confronts challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset utilizing creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Manages relocation and bonus payment processes for new hires and communicates details as necessary
  • Collaborates with Recruiters in new hire processes and assessments. Updates activities in the applicant tracking system promptly
  • Assists with Paycom system procedures including new hire data entry, benefits enrollment, insurance deductions, and other system changes
  • Supports various human resources programs, procedures and contributes to HR team efforts
  • Apply and interpret government employment regulations and laws, policies, and specific operating procedures


Qualifications

Experience ~ Proven experience as an HR generalist or similar role (Minimum of 1 year experience). Prefer recent experience in Human Resources, Onboarding, new hire processes, Paycom system. Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Education ~ Associate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Preferred: Bachelors' degree in Psychology, Organizational Development or Human Resources.
