What you'll need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Business or related degree Five plus years’ sales and marketing experience managing key customer relationships, preferably in metal industry Demonstrated ability to take the output of marketing research documents and detailed reports and translate that information into market/key customer opportunities Experienced in strategic account development, managing key customers, negotiating, and influencing key customer buying decisions Fundamental understanding of the operational principles of the volume/cost/price relationship Demonstrated success in creating and selling specific value propositions to new and existing key customers High-energy, self-motivated, and responsible with mature judgment and initiative Capable of managing to completion a variety of projects and programs simultaneously and efficiently Previous success leading others in cross-functional teams and/or project management experience. What you'll do:

Successfully deliver aggressive sales goals originating from strategic initiatives and building efficient “best-in-class” selling businesses Manage product across multiple sales channels (direct and distribution) Define and build an appropriate-sized sales team while simultaneously developing the performance metrics, reporting tools, and technical training needed to ensure success Assists in development through Digital Transformation with; Dashboards, Sales Performance, Sales Processes, and Technology. Leverages the technology for data and real-time decision making. Coaching team members on new Sales Processes. Sales Mapping and Planning – establish territory plans & targets, strategic account management, and execution of the plans Develop keen understanding of our business, customers business, and support customer relationships. Engage in continuous learning. Utilizing internal and external resources Lead the supply agreement (contract) process with customer base, partnering with internal teams to meet company objectives Present key projects & progress to senior leadership Analyze and report on sales performance to plan and standards, identify needs, and implement change as needed to maximize results Use Voice Of Customer data to identify improvement opportunities, deliver consistent customer satisfaction, and build brand loyalty Collaborate with marketing to build a comprehensive Sales & Marketing Plan. Ensure business-wide awareness of competitive landscape, market development opportunities, and potential technological advantages that clearly tie to long-term strategies and values
