Scope
Boise Cascade is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Coordinator I with a strong focus on vendor management and recruiting process development and standardization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating efforts centrally that reduce effort for our business units when engaged in recruiting activities. This position will involve executing efficient recruiting processes, managing vendor relationships, and supporting the overall talent acquisition efforts from within the Corporate Talent Team.
Responsibilities
Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruiting vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor agreements to ensure optimal terms and performance.
- Evaluate vendor performance regularly, ensuring alignment with Boise Cascade's standards and expectations.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors promptly and effectively,
- Assist in the creation of job postings and manage job board advertisements.
- Coordinate interview schedules, candidate assessments, and feedback sessions.
- Support onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
- Work closely with HR, hiring managers, and other internal stakeholders to align recruiting efforts with organizational goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports on recruiting activities and vendor performance.
- Facilitate communication between candidates, hiring managers, and vendors to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in administration, talent acquisition, or HR coordination.
- Proven experience in vendor management and process improvement.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the manufacturing or building materials industry.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other HR software.
