May include:

•Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data to improve productivity and efficiency

•Utilizes proven lean principles for warehousing and manufacturing areas

•Abilities to identify opportunities for cost reduction, increased quality, workflow improvements, etc.

•Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization

•Utilizes AutoCAD software to design racking, layout, workflow and material handling processes

•Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties

•Interacts with MHE vendors and suppliers staying informed on industry trends,

•Data analysis for metric tracking and metric generation

•Recommends reorganizing workflow, relocating of equipment and recommends purchase of equipment

•Coordinate project work internally with the department and externally with other departments to ensure on-time completion of projects within budget

•Work with Solutions Group on projects and data gathering when assigned

•Complete understanding of Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery Metrics

•Knowledgeable of Lean, Kaizen and 5S principles

•Ability to work out the time taken to perform a task or to complete a particular production stage and set performance standards

•Establishes continuous improvement goals and executes action plans

•Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs.
