Sapp Bros., Inc. is looking to expand our marketing department by adding a Marketing Coordinator to our team.
Job Summary: As the Marketing Coordinator you'll tackle daily administrative tasks crucial to achieving our departmental goals as well as contribute to our overall marketing strategies and initiatives. This is a unique position where you'll have the opportunity explore ideas that work for both B2B and B2C environments. We're looking for self-driven team players who thrive in a collaborative environment, foster a positive workplace culture and someone that demonstrates an eagerness and resourcefulness to learn new skills and concepts, taking initiatives to seek answers. Other skills that are essential to this role are highly organized, detail-oriented, have a creative passion and possess excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Marketing Leadership
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels and keep an organized record of ongoing projects
- Monitor the company's digital listings and online reputation by responding to reviews, engaging with customer feedback and implementing strategies to enhance brand perception
- Write, proofread, and format content copy for marketing materials like blog articles, emails, advertisements, internal/external communications, and company documents
- Assist in managing and growing our social media presence by creating and scheduling posts, maintaining a calendar, engaging with our followers and staying up to date on trends and best practices
- Create visually appealing graphics in Canva (and/or Adobe) for various marketing projects, including special offers, in-app promotions, and other content
- Support the development and coordinate the organization of marketing materials and signage requests, including brochures, newsletters, presentations, billboards, location signage and branding of official company documents
- Conduct market research to identify trends and customer preferences
- Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
- Help organize and coordinate planning and execution of events
- Maintain and update the various company websites and marketing databases
- Maintain inventory and management of promotional items and the company store, ensuring products are well-stocked, organized and effectively promoted to enhance brand visibility and employee engagement
- Additional duties as assigned
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing or related roles (internships included)
- Experience with social media platforms, specifically Facebook and LinkedIn; preferred experience on others as well
- Strong proficiency in Canva for creating visual graphics and content with a good eye for design
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
This job requires the employee to sit or stand for extended periods of time. May occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision when proofing marketing materials.
The work environment is a business office setting with office equipment and moderate noise levels.
