Responsibilities
Manage all accounting functions including payroll and accounts payable
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the month end close, including preparation of journal entries and additional supporting schedules.
Coordinate annual audit.
Assist in developing annual budget.
Manage grant awards.
Analyze financial results and monitor budget variances.
Preparation of monthly financial statements.
Develop and supervise accounting staff.
Maintain a strong system of internal control. Keep sound accounting practice. Develop and implement accounting process and procedure.
Ensure compliance with all applicable government and regulatory functions, including tax returns and other reports of compliance.
Assist CFO with cash management and bank relationships.
Assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts.
Assumes other duties as assigned.
Requirements
BS Degree in Accounting
CPA/MBA plus
5+ years’ GL experience required
Healthcare industry required, non-profit experience a plus
Supervisory- excellent leadership and management skills
Solid systems experience
