Job Summary:
The Enrollment Coordinator is a key member of the NorthStar Academy as managed by Edisonlearning's administrative team that leads the implementation efforts for local student enrollment. The Enrollment Coordinator is required to give frequent presentations and build/maintain relationships on behalf of the program. Excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills are required. This position requires travel throughout a region to make presentations to civic groups, religious organizations, parents, students and other audiences identified through market research. The Enrollment Coordinator will lead teams of student and staff recruiters for promotion at school and community events. Knowledge of local school systems is desired. The Enrollment Coordinator will enroll students at each site, meeting with family and student to ensure a smooth transition to the program. This position will also be responsible for monitoring FTE counts and the ramp up activities to ensure appropriate and representative attendance during this critical time.
Essential Enrollment Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Ensure all enrollment documentation are completed and included in each student's enrollment folder;
- Enroll students at each site and coordinate meetings with family and students to ensure a smooth transition to the program;
- Organize and conduct enrollment orientations of new and re-enrolled students within the enrollment timeline as specified by the Director of Career & Technical Education;
- Work with families to align students' growth plans, supporting family engagement with the students' in-school experience;
- Collaborate with the Lead CEEL and participate in all enrollment meetings as conducted by the Director of Career & Technical Education;
- To support families with the enrollment and retention process, conduct home visits as needed;
- Consults with parents, teachers, and other appropriate staff regarding the academic and CTE programs and any adaptations/materials needed to facilitate student enrollment and progression;
- Maintains relationships and effectively communicate with school leaders, teachers, parents and all students on all facets of the enrollment process and the academic and CTE programs offered;
- Support with translation services and enrollment materials as needed.
- Create and ensure supply of enrollment packets are readily available at the reception area of the school site;
- Maintain and manage students' waitlists;
- Ensure all student enrollment information is accurately entered into the in-house Student Information System;
- Ensure all student enrollment folders are complete and stored in accordance with the district's student records policies and procedures;
- Monitor FTE counts and ramp up activities to ensure appropriate and representative attendance during this critical time;
- Tracks and analyze enrollment and class data to identify trends, foster improvements in decision-making and trouble shoot enrolment issues;
- Lead and coordinate implementation of defined local recruitment and enrollment initiatives throughout the school year;
- Proactively identify and develop opportunities to promote applicable enrollment efforts including feeder school and community outreach efforts;
- Cultivate interest in the program through dynamic involvement with local civic organizations, religious groups, community groups, and other relevant organizations and clubs;
- Participate actively in local Chambers of Commerce, business, professional, and education organizations as determined through market research and administrative leads;
- Build a database of contacts through local and regional involvement;
- Prepare program of events and timetables for promotional events;
- Recruit and supervise teams of Student Recruiters engaged in canvassing, attending school and community events, etc.;
- Plan and manage for material needs at promotional events;
- Provide operational updates and reports as needed;
- Learn the program design and product advantages;
- Adhere to and enforce EdisonLearning and district policies and procedures;
- Represent the program and the company in a positive and professional manner at all times;
- Communicate with colleagues and supervisors on a regular basis and participate in internal meetings as scheduled;

Required
- Bachelor of Arts or Science in a relevant field;
- At least one year of relevant experience in sales, business development/marketing, or public relations;
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to create multimedia presentations in PowerPoint
- Must possess a local Driver's License and a clear driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and internet applications
- Knowledge of regional social, political, and economic issues;
- Knowledge of K-12 public education;
- Bilingual in Spanish and English;
- Proficiency with multimedia communication tools, such as discussion boards, webinars, email, instant messaging, digital photography
