The ideal candidate must have strong custodial experience working the night shift and have good time-management skills to ensure all cleaning tasks are performed within the shift. We have 6 openings, don't wait, apply today Job Title: Sr. Custodian Location: Santa Barbara Pay Range: $30-$32/HRNight Shift Schedule:2am-10:30am OR 4pm-12:30am What's the Job? Keeps building and classrooms in clean and orderly condition. Perform routine maintenance duties; dusts, sweeps, mops, scrubs floors including buffing & high speed hard and resilient floors. Strips, seals and finishes floors. Follows prodcedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and ficturesOperates vacuum cleaner, wet/dry vacuum, vaccum all carpeted areasCleans restrooms, fixtures, mirrors and replenishes soap and paper goods. Empties and cleans wastebaskets and other receptacles.Responsible for minor maintenance and storage of equipment. May haul, load and/or set up chairs, tables for special functions Other cleaning duties as assigned What's Needed? Knowlege of standard cleaning methods and proceduresExperience using cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vaccum cleaners and cleaning solutions Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals and knowledge of occupational hazard safety rulesAbility to stand, walk, and bend for full shiftAbility to perform repetitive motion for long periods of timeAbility to pass pre-employment background check and drug screenHigh School Diploma What's in it for me?
