Description In this technical role, you will lead the automation development effort for the characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products This will include the bringup infrastructure at the center of a silicon design group as well as the characterization, regression, and reporting framework. Key Qualifications This is a lead role that requires industry experience in architecting and implementing test and automation systems within wireless communication systems. Experience developing test automation including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, database interfaces, and reporting tools. Experience with automation infrastructure development (traceability, repeatability) and related tools (GIT, CI, database, reporting tools). Experience with Python and/or C/C++. Experience using, and a basic understanding of the theory of operation of, wireless test lab equipment (spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer, power meter). Education & Experience Minimum qualification is BS+10 years of relevant experience. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
