It's bonus points when you get to see your family and friends use the tech you build at their favorite McD restaurant.This role will collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts, market leads, project managers, and Global Technology Solutions teams to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of McDonald's security services. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing and collaborating with the support teams that handle tickets and other operational tasks for McDonald's security services. This person will work closely with others in Global Technology Risk Management and other areas of Global Technology to ensure that our services are meeting the needs of markets, application teams, and other stakeholders.Check out the Global Technology Technical Blog to learn how technology is directly enabling the Accelerating the Arches strategy.Job DescriptionThis opportunity is part of the Global Cybersecurity function in Global Technology. Reporting to the Director, Operations Excellence and working closely with the cybersecurity team, the Technical Consultant will anticipate and manage the strategic and tactical needs for Global Cybersecurity while being responsible for the translation of business needs into effective IT road map processes and technical solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technology consultant to help shape the transformation of infrastructure and operations products and services to the entire McDonald's environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop business demand management and engagement for Cybersecurity and handle product roadmap and releases to adopt and accelerate usage across the businessWork with the business to upskill people across the organization, enabling collaborators on key business differentiators across strategy execution and value cases for CybersecurityHelp to translate technical requirements into action items to improve higher level roadmap proceduresAbility to communicate, strengthen and deliver product roadmap processes including data gathering, tooling, and reporting for senior leadershipBring value realization in data driven decisions for KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics. You will help the business best understand how Cybersecurity is providing to value to the overall McDonald's ecosystemAccountable for leading projects with moderate risk. Run budget and directs activities of the projects teamsQualificationsStrong analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from various sourcesAbility to lead collaborator expectations and resolve conflictAbility to validate data obtained via other techniques and expose new areas for elicitationExceptional relationship management skills and the ability to build and grow connections with people of all types and backgrounds from all over the worldExceptional verbal and written communication skills including the ability to influence multiple parties towards common goalsHighly collaborative along with independent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skillsHighly organized and thorough, with the ability to keep many engagements active at onceComfortable with ambiguity and ability to navigate uncertaintyNaturally elevates others and creates a culture of belonging through engaging successful teamsExperience8+ years of technology capability experience across multiple IT practices that may include infrastructure leadership, service management leadership, technology operations, data management and business relationship management5+ years experience in partnering with senior/executive level resources to produce product roadmapsHands on exposure to following areas/tools:MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint especially)SmartsheetData visualization (PowerBI, Tableau)Process mapping/design (Visio, Miro, Roadmunk)Have orchestrated a digital transformation to help improve an organization's product vision and how to scale at an enterprise/global levelFamiliar with standard methodologies for chargeback models and shared servicesSolid experience in process improvement, with an emphasis on analytics and process management (prior experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools preferred)Ability to generate compelling business cases and translate to actionBachelor's degree Computer Science/Engineering/TechnologyAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
