**Basic Function:** Maintains inventory levels by receiving and issuing materials from the stockroom. Ensures quantity is correct and materials are in good condition.

**Significant Responsibilities:**

Performs specific job responsibilities:

* Pulls and stages materials for work orders and fills production material requisitions;

* Accepts, sorts and locates raw materials into warehouse stock, ensuring proper count, identification and placement;

* Performs material moves in GrowthPower database on a daily basis;

* Consolidates inventory where possible and works with supervisor to efficiently allocate space;

* Records and reports shortages and discrepancies;

* Works with planners to ensure material is moved in a timely manner, enabling production to meet customer demands;

* Conducts cycle counts and aides in quarterly and yearly counts.

Promotes OCCs service excellence and quality. Provides excellent service to customers; builds strong relationships and team cohesiveness; focuses on quality and positive solutions; communicates respectfully; demonstrates compassion and understanding in response to customer request/needs.

Champions OCCs mission, vision and values (as detailed in our *15 Essential Points of Success*); complies with policies and procedures, ethical standards and Code of Conduct.

**Job Scope:**

* Keeps the Raw Material Cage area organized and rotated (FIFO);

* Must become familiar with all raw materials and their use;

* Communicates inventory issues to Inventory Control Supervisor and assist in resolving issue;

* Maintain inventory accuracy by verifying quantities of incoming material quantities and conducting cycle counts of materials;

* Cross-train in Receiving as primary back-up Receiver.

**Minimum Qualifications Required:**

**Education:** High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

**Experience:** 1****3 years experience in warehouse and data entry. Experienced working in an ERP environment.

**Other Minimum Qualifications:** Effective interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills; must successfully complete orientation; must obtain a fork lift certification within three months of hire.

**Essential Skills, Abilities & Knowledge:** Must become familiar with the company software and be able to perform material transactions in system. Good computer knowledge of Microsoft applications. Ability to read and follow basic instructions. Math and handwriting skills required. Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Pays close attention to detail with the ability to complete assignments accurately and recognize and assist in resolving problems.

**Working Conditions:**

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift up to 50lbs and move/push a supply cart with approximately 150 lbs of supplies on it. The employee must have full range of motion ability, including stretching, bending, and stooping. This job requires sight sufficient for reading and computer usage. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision. This work also requires an individual with hearing sufficient for communication with vendors and coworkers. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
