Senior Staff Accountant

Job Description
Job Description A manufacturing company located in Jupiter that has been around since 2018 is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This position would report directly to the Controller and will maintain financial transactions and support all aspects of the accounting department.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Process and assist in accurate record-keeping for the full accounting cycle.
Maintain regular communication with other departments to obtain and convey information related to invoicing for finished manufactured products.
Oversee Accounts Receivable billing, collections, and cash receipts.
Assist in cash forecasting.
Participate in improving accounting procedures and controls.
Oversee inventory controls, reconciliation, and costing.
Assist Human Resources with weekly payroll processes while maintaining confidentiality.
Prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing process reconciliations.
Develop and maintain regular reports via the company’s accounting system to support data mining, reconciliations, and analysis.
Serve as the primary internal contact for the SAP Business One ERP system and liaise with outside support consultants.
Maintain an inquisitive approach by exploring financial data and identifying patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance and insights for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Partner with Production to provide insightful analysis of production transactions.
Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient functioning of the accounting department.
