Overview:

Responsibilities:

The Contracts Administrator manages the contract lifecycle process including the assistance with documents in the contract repository, all contract-related data, tracking of contract obligations and working as a liaison with lines of business. As the Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for development and implementation of contract administration processes and procedures, including administration of policies and processes in accordance with customer expectations, department requirements and corporate strategic objectives.

The Contracts Administrator will:

  • Provide support for the review and summarization of vendor contracts.
  • Manage contract administration from cradle to grave for the company contracts team, including tracking incoming contracts and required documentation, maintenance and updating of the contract repository, work with legal to ensure the updating of contract templates. Track all contract-related data, as well as contractual obligations, upcoming expirations and completed contracts.
  • Liaise with internal customers and perform customer contact activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Work on NDAs, Letters of Termination and basic contracts.
  • Develop and create reports on contract spend, aging, quarterly performance and other relevant contract information as needed to satisfy compliance, departmental and contractual requirements
  • Lead and participate in projects to support operational process improvement and coordination to ensure proper contract execution and data capture.
  • Identify improvements, recommendations and efficiencies to the contracts process Manage multiple contracts and projects with varying deadlines
  • Participate on reviewing terms for moderately simple contracts
  • Regularly exercise discretion and good independent judgment on business matters
  • Work to provide and review contractual documents accurately for research or audit enquiries. Perform other related duties, as required and assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certification and/or other legal qualification preferred, training in contracts or equivalent contract administration work experience is highly desired
  • Transactional experience in corporate setting required.
  • Good collaborative team player with excellent communicative written and oral skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of contracts
  • Superior project management and reporting skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related software)
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work projects
  • Ability to develop and maintain good business relationships with all levels of company personnel including contracts team members, external stakeholders and customers
  • Excellent, responsive customer service skills. Friendly and approachable manner with lines of business. Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organizations desired culture of ethics and integrity
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and success in meeting deadlines
  • Awareness of financial and revenue recognition standards a plus
