ED Lead Patient Access

Atlantic Health System is seeking a FULL TIME - LEAD Patient Access Representative at Morristown Medical Center, to work schedule includes evening shift coverage and every other weekends as required by department.
Essential Functions:
Greet and register patients. Detail oriented and demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task with attention to detail. Will register patients in an accurate and timely manner entering demographic and insurance information. Collection of copay, deductible, coinsurance, etc.

Qualifications/Requirments:
- Top tier coomunication, customer service and teamwork skills preferred
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume environment that includes multiple physcial locations within the unit
- Able to perform patient relocation duties and operate equipment of over 25 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong computer skills and customer service skills required
- Must be able to work varied hours and flexible shifts
- Bilingual is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Business degree preferred
- 2+ years supervisory experience preferred
