**The Opportunity**

As the Senior Program Manager, you will work closely with Abts Healthcare Portfolio Vice President and agency-specific Client Account Leads to manage day-to-day operations of the portfolio and support execution of key client projects. You are responsible for protecting the current client base, managing the delivery of client-centric solutions, demonstrating an understanding of the clients unmet needs and supporting portfolio operations. The Program Manager applies their client and domain-specific knowledge to help Abt tailor solutions, working across the firm with the capability organizations, the corporate business development organization, and Abt departments to ensure client success, contract growth, and financial performance.

**Core Responsibilities**

_General Operations_

+ Plan and monitor day-to-day operations to ensure smooth progress across operational and financial activities toward strategic goals.

+ Oversee portfolio-wide projects and initiatives; bring together stakeholders and help drive decisions.

+ Provide project planning and management for portfolio projects and initiatives, including annual account planning processes.

+ Disseminate information and communicate ideas on behalf of the Portfolio and Account Leads to internal and external stakeholders.

+ Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support.

+ Develop and/or document internal processes for communications, operations and other portfolio needs with appropriate team members.

_Project Delivery_

+ Manages day-to-day client interactions with stakeholders. Develops and fosters lasting professional relationships with client personnel.

+ Works closely with Project/Task leads to ensure delivery teams meet all contract obligations/deliverables. Serves directly as Project/Task lead on specific contracts where appropriate.

+ Identifies and escalates project delivery risks by delivering regular project health reviews to the client account lead.

_Stakeholder Engagement_

+ Manages relationships with the Governments key contracts staff. Works with Abt Contracts Department to address all contractual obligations.

+ Engages with solution architects and other experts across Abts capability lines to craft effective, responsive solutions that address the clients unmet needs and operating realities.

+ Supports critical client conversations on projects and captures, to include helping to understand and interpret the voice of the customer, manage issues, address points of customer dissatisfaction, and gain the customer's assessment of Abt performance.

_Business Development_

+ Partners with portfolio lead, client account leads, client solutions architects, project leads, and business development executives to develop and execute growth strategies, including building and executing on a pipeline of opportunities (e.g., through demand generation and marketing); also assists in building strategic relationships with other firms, consultants, and organizations.

+ Supports/leads opportunity identification, qualification, capture, and proposal development; helps to craft effective capture and win strategies and frequently serves on proposal color review teams to ensure that win strategies are incorporated into proposals.

+ Works with Abts Marketing and Communications Team to create and maintain relevant marketing materials, including social media and website content.

**What We Value**

+ Senior Program Manager: Bachelors Degree + 12 years of relevant experience or Masters degree + 10 years of relevant experience or PhD + 8 years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Program Management Director: Bachelors Degree + 15 years of relevant experience or Masters degree + 12 years of relevant experience or PhD +10 years of experience OR the equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ 5 7 + years of relevant Project or Program management experience is required, including running large complex federal contracts

+ PMP certification is strongly preferred.

+ Direct knowledge and experience working with CMS is required.

+ Extensive knowledge of and experience working with various contract vehicles and the federal procurement and acquisition process.

+ Demonstrated success expanding client relationships and achieving financial and growth metrics on a portfolio of project-based work.

+ Ability to coordinate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders and client executives.

+ Experience developing reports, briefings, and decks and presenting to clients in a professional and influential manner.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and to meet deadlines.

+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer relationship skills with the ability to have crucial conversations.

+ Ability to gain alignment amongst stakeholders to ensure a clear path forward.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately?$121,000 to?$222,000?and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location.?Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis. ?
