Hiring Opportunity: Waverly, OHOur client is looking to hire a manufacturing engineer to their growing engineering team out of Waverly Ohio Our client is a world leading manufacturing company headquartered out of Germany that manufacturers different frames for the automotive industry. The manufacturing engineer would be responsible for investigating and implementing improvements to different facets of manufacturing/production while also adhering to industry specific standards.Job RequirementsResponsibilities:- Investigates/implements improvements to facet of manufacturing/production.- Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline are supported and adhered to.- Ensures he/she is in full compliance with federal laws and/or any other state- Establishes/maintains relationships with members of senior management and employees at all levels within the organization, customers, and suppliers of assembly and manufacturing equipmentQualifications:- Minimum 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive stampings, welding, mechanical and modular assemblies- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal- Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate, lead and build/maintain relationships- Sound computer skills- Thorough knowledge of TS 16949/ISO 14001, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Ergonomics, Time Studies, Robotics and Industrial RelationsBenefits: - Short and Long Term Disability Insurance- Vacation, paid holidays- Tuition Reimbursement- Health, Dental and Vision Insurance- Life Insurance- Employee Assistance Program - 401k plan with a company match
