And that's why we're the most loved and trusted name in security. What You'll Do Duo is looking for a Product Manager to join our Platform team. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, architects, and other product managers to create a roadmap and strategy that improves the reliability, scalability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance of the Duo platform. Our ideal candidate comes from a technical background and can speak the language of our engineering team. Key responsibilities include: Create a product vision and roadmap for Duo's platform capabilities. Build and maintain a prioritization framework based on objective data. Produce concise business case documents, presentations and product requirements documents (PRD) to enable effective product investment decisions. Manage product requests from customers, sales, partners and team members. Collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, product managers, sales, customer success, support, and other team members to understand problems, capture new ideas, and systematically prioritize the most important projects. Lead internal and external customer discovery conversations that influence product decisions. Represent the voice and needs of the customer and ability to translate this to clear requirements for engineering and support teams Define product-related objectives and key results (OKRs) and communicate related progress internally. Evangelize product strategy internally (e.g. with sales, engineering, and other product organizations) and externally with customers and partners. Own cross-functional interactions for your area of the product including Sales, Customer Success and Support. Who You Are Product Managers play a highly visible role in the company and are critical to the development and execution of the product strategy. We deliver the best experience for our users. As the product expert, you excel at prioritization, collaboration, and communication, while being accountable for scalability, availability, and quality. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years product management experience in a customer facing role. 2+ years working with SaaS software products. Experience interpreting cyber security standards, such as NIST and translating them into technical requirements and supporting-customer audits. Experience with product management, working directly with engineering and design teams to plan, develop, and deliver multi-tenant SaaS products. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years of platform or technical experience. internal candidate that has worked on the Duo R&D Team. Certifications: CISSP, GSEC, Security+, AWS Certified Security Technical background (computer science degree or software engineering experience) Familiar with user authentication/login flows and associated technologies, identity and access management, and security Systems-level understanding of communications and security technologies including TLS, SHA, and IPv6. Familiar with industry compliance standards and understand the needs of IT administrators and security teams as well as internal SRE teams to meet audit requirements. A track record of defining product success metrics and prioritizing feature development using them. Direct experience with external technology vendors and cloud partners driving feature requests and applying their expertise to deliver Duo's platform roadmap. Ability to use data to drive decision-making while managing requests from different groups, including customers, partners, internal teams, and others. Excellent presentation and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate positioning and technology to technical, sales, and executive audiences. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. or Canada hiring location. U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows: .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
