POSITION SUMMARY

The Market Coordinator (MC) will be responsible for store operations within a given market. The MC will be responsible for scheduling, on-boarding new staff on store procedures and processes and conduct store audits for validation of store readiness and preparedness.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):

Training Development

  • Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, and lectures
  • Schedules, coordinates, and trains all new sales staff on:
    • store operations
    • systems/computer training
    • general policy and procedures
    • customer service.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities and program effectiveness
  • Evaluate training materials prepared by training department, such as outlines, job aids, training modules, and handouts
Scheduling
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining the work schedules for the assigned markets
  • Works with Store Managers for emergency staffing
  • Schedules and informs sales management of requested time off
Coordination
  • Validates and audits (not limited to):
    • store readiness (POP, price tags current, etc.)
    • floor layout adherence
    • backroom organization.
