Job Responsibilities: > Monitoring and Reporting Environmental Aspects and Impacts : Identify significant environmental aspects and impacts of operational activities and recommend possible mitigating measures. Permitting and Registration : Attend to all permitting and registration requirements prior to the construction or operation of pollution sources and control facilities. Quarterly Reports : Submit Self-Monitoring Reports (SMRs) and Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMRs) periodically. Incident Reporting : Report any environmental incidents or exceedances in effluent and/or emission standards within a stipulated time frame. > Operation and Maintenance Environmental Management Facilities : Ensure proper performance, operation, and maintenance of facilities like wastewater treatment facilities, air pollution control devices, hazardous waste storage areas, and solid waste management facilities. Monitoring Devices : Oversee environmental monitoring devices such as Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems, Air Monitoring Stations, and groundwater monitoring wells. > Hazardous Waste Management Hazardous Waste Disposal : Ensure hazardous wastes are covered by a Permit to Transport and each transport is documented by a hazardous waste manifest. > Liaison and Coordination Government Interaction : Act as the liaison officer to the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) and coordinate regulatory programs with local government units. > Environmental Management Activities Awareness Campaigns : Initiate and intensify environmental management activities, including environmental awareness campaigns within their organization. Multi-partite Monitoring : Participate in multi-partite monitoring team activities and meetings where applicable. > Other Regulatory Requirements Performs the processing, monitoring, and administering other regulatory requirements of the company for PNP, PDEA, LLDA, and similar agencies. Job Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree holder of any business/ office administration course or any related courses. Work Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in a related field. Training: Must have completed the Basic PCO Training Course by an EMB-recognized training organization or institution within the last three years. Skills: Excellent communication (both verbal and written). Proficient in using MS applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Detail-oriented and with high organizational skills. Ability to multitask. Proactive & Results-Oriented. Good interpersonal abilities and compatibility in medium-sized company/workplace. Willing to travel.
