As we continue to expand our event portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join our team in NYC.

The Role:

At Fanatics Events, we are passionate about creating memorable and impactful experiences in the world of sports. If you're an energetic, results-driven Marketing expert in the sports and events industry who thrives in a dynamic environment, embraces collaboration, and is dedicated to fostering a positive culture, we want to speak to you.

We're looking for a creative thinker who possesses a blend of organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to join our sales team. The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, get their hands dirty, and make a lasting impact on the success of our events. The candidate will play a pivotal role in facilitating sales to our league partners, hobby brands, streetwear brands, and other fandom brands. By working with the sales team to develop and then execute various packages, you'll play an important part in building the Fanatics Events business. The role will require travel to various partners and events nationwide. While offering hybrid work options, this role requires a minimum of one day per week at our New York office.

Our mission revolves around nurturing the most ardent and devoted fan communities out there. We're on the lookout for individuals who aren't just creative problem solvers, but those who thrive in the exhilarating atmosphere of a startup and are willing to put in the hands-on work to build something from the ground up and build massive events. We value collaboration, a sense of fun, and an aversion to drama and office politics. Our ideal team members are those who embrace challenges head-on, willingly tackle any task regardless of their title or job description and have a genuine passion for the work we do. If you're ready to be part of a team that runs toward problems and fosters a culture of camaraderie and innovation, we would love to speak to you.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist partners by coordinating logistics for each event, including booth placement and design, signage, promotional materials, and equipment.
  • Work with sales team to create pre-sale pitches for a range of clients including leagues, agencies & brands.
  • Maintain cleanliness of CRM systems by regularly updating leads, adding new leads to system and maintaining oversight over invoicing, payments, booth & table placement, etc.
  • Handle elements of post-sale communications to dealers and sponsors by building communication plans, handling inbound customer service, and working with operations team to manage fan-facing floor plan data.
What We're Looking For:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in events, sales, communications, or a related field in the sports/collecting industry with demonstrable experience of marketing consumer products or event marketing.
  • Ability to contribute to event production and operations, being a point of contact on the ground during large scale events, providing guidance and assistance to partners and fans.
  • Excellent copywriting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically, adapt to changing circumstances, innovate, and problem solve.
  • A genuine passion for sports and the ability to translate that passion into digital and print marketing materials for our events.
Must be highly collaborative with a "We" not "Me" mentality. Be flexible in your viewpoints, always looking for the best ideas and ready to be an advocate for ideas other than your own.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • A dynamic and innovative work environment.
  • Access to premium sporting events and exclusive experiences.

If you are an organized and motivated marketer who's passionate about sports or collecting and possess a blend of creativity and analytical skills, we invite you to apply for this role. Please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and why you're the right fit.
