Favorite Medium is a digital consultancy specializing in bespoke software product development. Established in 2006, we have presence in Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, and San Francisco and have developed digital products for clients all over the world in the media, technology, and financial services verticals. Our key practice areas are UX design and engineering.
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager with a strong background in technology consulting or software development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding existing client relationships, driving sales and revenue growth through new business acquisition, and identifying opportunities for growth in the US and North American market.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets
Generate leads through marketing, networking, and outreach activities
Nurture and expand existing client relationships, identify up and cross-sell opportunities
Qualify leads, conduct needs assessments, and develop proposals and presentations to potential clients
Manage the sales process from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities
Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure client expectations are met and projects are delivered successfully, post-sale
Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships and generate leads
Provide regular sales and pipeline reports to senior management

Requirements
7+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales
Proven track record of success in business development and sales in technology consulting or related services industry
Background in computer science, engineering or IT strongly preferred
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients and partners
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working in an international environment and across time zones
Hunter mentality with a farmer’s mindset
Must be based in the US West Coast time zone
