We are seeking a Procurement Intern for Summer 2024 who are passionate about sustainability, driven by curiosity and keen to grow, learn, develop and thrive in our high-performance culture. This opportunity will be a 12-week, paid internship beginning June 3, 2024.

This internship opportunity will be located in Nashville, TN

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create a presentation at the end of your internship to executive leadership regarding what you have learned and what you believe you have contributed to the business. Document business requirements that will be used to develop technical solutions to procurement and supply chain challenges.
  • Identify and support the implementation of procurement and supply chain improvements and decision-making.
  • Define and build a procurement plan dashboard.
  • Build out supplier management process.
  • Able to work closely with all internal departments; Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, IT, Finance and our Facilities being able to build relationships quickly
  • Work on getting all Product BOMS built with each corresponding RM. This will help us better understand COGS for each of the products we make and also good cross-functional experience for the intern working with Product Management, Finance, etc.
  • Ariba - consolidating contracts, NDAs, etc. into Contract Management workspace in Ariba, etc.
  • Chemical Pricing forecast - potentially use the intern with this project.
  • Create a presentation at the end of your internship to executive leadership regarding what you have learned and what you believe you have contributed to the business.
We're Looking for:

•Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Marketing, Business, Economics or related major Strong academic performance.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
  • Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Willing to spend time out in the field getting to know the business firsthand.
Schedule and Environment:
  • This is an onsite role; the intern will be expected to be onsite Monday - Friday and work an 8-hour shift (40 hours per week is mandatory).
  • You will be responsible for your own transportation to and from your worksite for the summer.
  • Throughout your internship, you may be required to travel for site tours, shadow experiences, or intern events.
