Reports to: Events and Community Manager Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Pay: $25.00 per hour Drake’s Brewing Company is a top 10 Northern California craft brewer. We are looking for Seasonal Barn Events Lead. The employment timeframe for this position will be from

April through October . Candidates may be offered the opportunity to return for further employment, but it is not guaranteed. In the Barn Events Lead role, you will work closely with the Events and Community Manager in coordinating all aspects of Barn events (e.g., admin work, securing equipment rentals, logistics, etc.), so attention-to-details is a must This role is integral to the overall service and hospitality of our venue and contributes to the financial success of The Barn. Responsibilities

Assists in the planning, implementation and logistical coordination of all in-house events Responds to requires for in-house event participation Schedules events using a Google Calendar, updates the Event Master Sheet and uploads all legal documents and invoices to Google Drive Works closely with the Event Manager to coordinate inventory, storage, and use of all event equipment Helps set up and dismantle events, efficiently and to completion Manages live music day-of-show Provides assistance to all areas of the Front of House (FOH) during high volume times Functions as Events Lead with expectations to work on the weekends during peak season Pouring beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages responsibility and properly in order to ensure the highest quality of product and the highest level of responsibility. Mediate guest concerns in a fair and hospitable manner. Provide friendly and welcoming service to each guest. Provide support to all areas of the space as needed. Complete all projects assigned by management staff in a thorough and timely manner Maintain contact with Kitchen staff, Management and FOH staff to ensure they are informed and updated on events and promotional activities Requirements

2 years of event planning experience or demonstrated experience in managing projects Minimum of 1 year experience in front-of-house roles in a restaurant Availability to work during our busy season (includes weekends) Familiarity with platforms like Eventbrite, Google Drive, Creative Cloud, etc. High-level of verbal and written communication High-volume bar experience is preferred Eager to contribute new ideas Ability to work under pressure effectively and work independently as well as part of a team Experience with POS systems, tablets & other electronic devices Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the frequent lifting of heavy objects, weighing to up 50 lbs This position requires standing for several hours, and walking along dirt & gravel pathways This position requires occasional bending, balancing and stooping. This position requires frequent reaching with hands and arms, as well the occasional use of hands and fingers to feel objects, tools or controls. Core Competencies
