Job Description:
The client is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and strongly desires to learn and grow with the company. This position will be responsible for working with existing clients and setting up new businesses.
Duties Include:
Review and evaluate commercial insurance applications to determine risk and premium
Negotiate terms and conditions with agents and brokers
Analyze data and evaluate claims history
Determine coverage and policy limits and pricing
Monitor and manage a portfolio of accounts
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial insurance underwriting/account management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Insurance designations, such as CPCU or AU, a plus
