Description:Tool room attendant responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, machine tools, and test equipment. Uses AMCS, a computer based program, to manage the assets in the tool room. Preforms annual inspections and inventories of the tools and test equipment assigned to the tool room. Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment. Submits portable tool request (PTR) and tool repair tickets (TRT) at the technicians request. Retrieves and delivers calibrated items to their assigned location either manually or using hand truck. May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool. Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with inventory control.
- Record-keeping skills
- Customer service experience
- Experience with hand tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- High School Diploma / GED
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience as a tool room attendant.

- Strong people skills and good attention to detail.

- Ability to work alone from written procedures & industry standards.

- Experience in an aircraft maintenance and modification environment.

- Good written and verbal communications skills.

- Sound critical thinking skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 3x12 hour day
