The Digital Advertising Operations Coordinator is responsible for project managing digital ad campaigns across multiple Active Interest Media brands. Digital products include newsletters, custom emails, website banners, social posts, pop ups, native content, and more. This role includes QA of insertion orders, scheduling, collecting assets, QA of assets, distributing assets to the execution teams, tracking campaign performance, and reporting. This position manages the complete lifecycle of digital campaigns, working closely with sales, marketing, and execution teams. The digital ad ops coordinator is expected to provide superior customer service. This role will contribute to the daily operations and overall strategy of digital sales and digital ad operations, ensuring that the quality and responsiveness of service meets or exceeds expectations.

  • Schedule ad campaigns for websites, newsletters, social platforms, custom programs, and more.
  • Collect assets from advertisers, agencies, sales, and marketing teams.
  • QA assets for functionality and compliance with technical specifications and content restrictions and distribute to execution teams.
  • Review and approve banners in newsletters for accurate ads and links prior to launch.
  • Obtain approvals from clients/sales for custom content such as sponsored content in newsletters, custom emails, and more prior to launch.
  • Ensure accurate contract fulfillment, reporting and quality control across multiple clients.
  • Manage the QA process for digital media campaigns and media plans.
  • Create client facing digital performance reports from multiple data sources (GAM, Omeda, GA, social analytics etc.) and help provide performance insights.
  • Monitor trends in performance and identify areas of improvement.
  • Proactively anticipate and avoid roadblocks to meet campaign performance goals.
  • Assist in day-to-day management of campaigns and support sales and other team members.
  • Take ownership of tools, projects, and processes and suggest innovations or efficiencies in workflow.
  • Play a role in developing and implementing best practices and processes to improve operational flow.
Professional Qualifications
  • 2+ years of relevant digital ad operations experience.
  • Expert computer skills, particularly with spreadsheet software like Excel, Smartsheets, and Google Sheets.
  • Capable of high-level data analysis using Excel, Google Analytics, Omeda and more.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ad Manager (GAM), Omeda, Google Analytics and similar systems a plus but not required.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills including a positive attitude and ability to interact with a diverse audience including peers, management, clients, vendors, and others.
  • Able to multitask, perform efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, quantitative analysis abilities, and close attention to detail.
  • Display a dependable, strong work ethic with the ability to manage projects autonomously.
  • Pro-active, quick learner, able to adapt and operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly demanding, constantly evolving environment.
  • Able to work independently with little supervision.
