  • Reconciles accounts including cash accounts and general ledger
  • Identifies and resolves discrepancies

Minimum QualificationsEducationAssociate degree in accounting, business, finance or related fieldPrior Work ExperienceLoan Accounting Specialist1 year of experience in accounting, loan processing, and/or customer serviceOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the jobCertifications Knowledge and SkillsGeneral knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)General knowledge of loan processesSkill in reconciling accountsSkill in processing complex, detailed forms and documents in an accurate and thorough mannerSkill in gathering, compiling and organizing informationSkill in utilizing a systematic approach to problem solvingSkill in interacting and working effectively with othersWorking knowledge of Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook sufficient to create, update and save a variety of documentsOral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and customersSkill in providing prompt, accurate and courteous customer service
