The Senior Analyst, Accounting and External Reporting, Leasing will support the North America Region with interpreting and applying the accounting standard requirements related to leasing, as well as supporting associated controls and processes. This role requires strong accounting/finance knowledge, analytical skills, good communication skills, and confidence to be successful. Responsibilities include: Liaison and provide support to related Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and other functions for lease-related requests/requirements Disseminate lease updates and provide training on lease policy to stakeholders Assist with reconciliation of vendor and internal leased assets records Coordinate and assist with embedded lease contract reviews Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the lease population in North America Execute monthly and quarterly close responsibilities Establish cross-functional relationships and act as a trusted business partner Apply ASC842 and Mondelez lease accounting policies Internal Key Stakeholders: North America Accounting & Shared Services Partners CS&L Manufacturing Plants External Manufacturing Procurement ISC Finance How you will contribute: Support accounting and external reporting activities including accurate and timely U.S. GAAP reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and statutory financial reporting Contribute to strong controls and compliance environment Embrace continuous improvement Contribute to a high-performing Accounting and External Reporting team What you will bring: Technical expertise in accounting and external reporting Business acumen and experience in CPG Industry or Big Four accounting Leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams Growth/digital mindset and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Integrity and sound judgement Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, CPA preferred 3+ years of experience in Accounting Strong experience in balance sheet account analysis and reconciliation Experience with financial systems (SAP preferred) Strong Excel skills Ability to build cross-functional relationships and communicate effectively Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects Ability to work autonomously and show initiative
