Ideal candidates will have the following: BS or MS degree inrelevant field (Geotechnical, Structural, or Water ResourcesEngineering). 10+ years of experience in evaluation, design,construction, monitoring and/or operation of dams. FERC ApprovedIndependent Consultant (IC). Experience as a subject matter expert (SME)and/or facilitator for risk-based analyses (SQRA or QRA). Understandingof the application of engineering principles to engineering design,including cost estimating, development of plans and specifications,development of bid packages, development of dam restoration plans, andoverseeing design implementation in the field (i.e., constructionmanagement).
