The CFO needs someone that can come in and oversee the accounting team, month end close, general ledger maintenance, and assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statements. Key Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, including accountants, bookkeepers, and clerks Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll Review Journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations Assist in ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management and stakeholders Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements Manage cash flow and working capital to optimize financial performance Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions Oversee tax planning and compliance activities Implement and maintain accounting software systems and tools Assist the CFO in budgeting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Supervisory experience would be a plus, but not required Distribution experience is a plus but not required Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities This is an opportunity for someone to take the next step in their career and work under a really fun and dynamic CFO Client is offering a competitive salary, growth opportunity, great benefits, strong PTO, and great culture.
