Austin FC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the League's 27th club in January 2019. Austin FC began competing in MLS in April 2021 and played its first match at home on June 19, 2021, in the new, 100% privately financed, state-of-the-art Q2 Stadium. Now in its fourth season, Austin FC currently holds the longest active sellout streak in MLS.

Austin FC is currently looking for a creative and dedicated Social Media Coordinator to be a key contributor in continuing to grow Austin FC owned social media channels including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Twitch, WhatsApp and YouTube. The person who takes this role will work in collaboration with internal stakeholders and will assist in the creation of compelling content for all Club social channels. The candidate will have the ability to shoot, edit, write copy, and create content for Austin FC social channels and monitor daily conversations on social media to help nourish the Austin FC community while exercising the Austin FC brand guidelines and language.

This position will be based in Austin, TX and the role will be in-person at Austin FC's office and out of the St. David's Performance Center based on scheduling needs.

You Will:
•Assist in executing the Austin FC Social Strategy across all owned social media platforms; and
•Capture content at Austin FC II & Austin FC matches, practices, and additional Club activations as assigned; and
•Create and proof both Spanish and English language copy for Austin FC & Austin FC II owned social media channels; and
•Work closely with the Austin FC Design team to update creative social templates; and
•Assist in the management of live stream content on social channels; and
•Assist the Creative & Content team with day-to-day content calendar management; and
•Assist with social analytics and recapping social campaigns; and
•Collaborate with departments across the business to meet company goals while executing the social strategy; and
•Travel to some away matches to execute the matchday coverage. Coordinate with photographers and videographers to capture and deliver content for social channels.

You Have:
•Bachelor's Degree
•Experience using Sprout or other social media analytics platforms
•Experience working with a brand social media accounts and knowledge in social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Twitch, WhatsApp, and YouTube
•Both English and Spanish language proficiency is essential
•Knowledge with other creative skills like photography, motion graphics, and videography is a plus
•Knowledge of soccer is a plus
•Knowledge in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and or Illustrator, and Premiere
