Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the Avionics department and customer accounts. Produce purchase orders for both inventory and miscellaneous non-inventory items. Shop all vendors to ensure the best price for purchasing of equipment, shop supplies, and hardware. Conduct periodic physical inventory; maintains stock level. Generate quotes upon request for customers by entering information about parts to be shipped, generate estimates, generate a proforma invoice or quote and deliver to customer by fax or email. Maintain and file packing sheets, invoices, and freight waybills. Process freight warranty claims by completing paperwork and file with vendor. Manage and inventory removed parts from customer aircraft, coordinate shipping of parts for consignment. Support technicians on procuring parts from the tool crib. Answers correspondence from internal and external customers in a professional manner. Responsible for the parts & components, storage layout, proper and safe storage, and accurate counting of stock on hand. 2-4 years of parts experience preferred. Physical Requirements
