PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
The Treasury Analyst reports to the accounting department and CFO. This position is responsible for managing the financial assets and liabilities of a company to optimize financial health and performance. This role will work in collaboration with other financial and executive teams to manage the company’s liquidity and financial risk.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cash Management: Oversee daily cash flow, manage bank accounts, and ensure sufficient funds for operational needs.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in forecasting cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment.
Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate risks.
Investment Management: Monitor investment portfolios and execute investment transactions to optimize financial returns within policy limits.
Debt Management: Manage company debt portfolios, including scheduling debt servicing and analyzing refinancing opportunities.
Banking Relationships: Maintain relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and reporting requirements.
Financial Strategy: Support strategic financial decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital structure considerations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting roles.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with ERP systems, including Workday, can be a plus.
Experienced with credit card processing and other payment methods.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaborating across departments.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail for financial management and compliance.
EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Advanced degrees or certifications in CFA or CPA preferred.
Food and beverage industry accounting experience preferred.
