Scheduling Coordinator - Scope of Work

Job Summary:

The Scheduling Coordinator at Wan Bridge Group is responsible for managing and maintaining project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects. This role involves participating in construction planning, coordinating resources, providing field support, monitoring progress, and improving scheduling processes to deliver quality outcomes.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, build, and update project schedules to ensure all tasks and milestones are accurately reflected.
  • Perform schedule reviews to ensure best practices for effective and efficient scheduling are utilized.
  • Participate in all phases of the construction planning and scheduling process to provide expert scheduling input and ensure seamless integration of scheduling activities.
  • Expedite and prioritize resource schedules to align with project demands.
  • Maintain and update schedule templates to reflect current practices and project requirements.
  • Provide real-time support to field teams for reschedules and adjustments, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Monitor project schedules continuously and communicate any delays to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with trade partners to resolve scheduling issues promptly and effectively.
  • Support, troubleshoot, and maintain WBS schedules to ensure they are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Report on the tracking and scheduling of trade partners to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Conduct detailed critical path analyses for problem projects and perform root cause analysis to identify and address issues effectively.
  • Elevate and resolve any issues related to the scheduling of homes with trade partners to maintain project flow and meet deadlines.
  • Perform field audits to ensure the scheduling process is effective, working as intended, and delivering quality outcomes.
  • Work with trade partners to verify their capacity and ensure they are not overbooked, maintaining a balance between demand and availability.
  • Identify and address potential bottlenecks in the scheduling process to prevent delays and ensure all tasks are completed as scheduled.
  • Maintain daily communication with trade partners, construction managers, and Directors of Construction to ensure alignment and resolve any scheduling issues.
  • Handle external contacts with resourcefulness, patience, and clarity, ensuring all matters discussed are addressed effectively.

Qualifications:
  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Experience as a Scheduling Coordinator for a Home builder.
  • Ability to manage multiple schedules and tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven Knowledge of Construction Documentation.
  • Ability to communicate with contractors, suppliers and builders
Essential Functions:
  • Typical work schedule, Monday through Friday, and after hours as requested.
  • Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device.
  • Excellent organization, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communication in English.
