**Major Responsibilities**

* Enters freight claims data into the claims processing system. Obtains, completes and files required paperwork.

* Conducts Proof of Delivery (POD) research including tracking and finding deliveries, verifying missed deliveries, and resolving delivery issues.

* Responds to incoming customer service calls regarding transportation or operational issues. Coordinates with Customer Care, Operations and the customer to answer questions concerning orders, delivery, and other issues.

* Prepares and distributes month-end reports as needed. Provides filing support as needed.

* Processes freight billings.

* Answers incoming calls to the facility and greets visitors as required.

* Distributes employment applications and administers the application process as required.

* Understands and demonstrates Essendant's Core Values.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

**Skills/Knowledge Required**

* Ability to perform the accountabilities and tasks of the function within established productivity requirements and in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures, rules or established processes along with established quality guidelines and expectations.

* Ability to leverage appropriate technology in an effective manner to perform job responsibilities (i.e. computer, scanner, software, etc).

* Ability to assist and/or help out in other Operations Services functions as required.

* Ability to understand simple directions (verbal and written) in English.
