Receives and processes incoming customer orders for materials and/or products from company employees or individual customers. May resolve routine issues with carriers, including customer complaints, liability issues, and rate discrepancies. Provides customer support by answering general product questions, directing customers to website, and distributing product brochures and samples. Enters purchase orders into SAP. Updates and maintains freight rate tables in SAP. Informs customers of shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by customer. You and your experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Two (2) years related experience and/or training What puts you ahead: Previous customer service experience for a manufacturing company Previous dispatching experience Attention to detail and order entry experience All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to the individual's race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, disability, genetic information, status as a military veteran or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
