Position Summary: Social Media Manager is responsible for creating and developing original content specific to Marlins Baseball business operation and other Marlins brand engagement priorities for social and other digital platforms. Will create new franchises, series and one-off concepts; developing show pitch decks to present to Marlins leadership, overseeing the pilot phase of new ideas, and creating a go-forward production plan and launch strategy for all new original content projects. Social Media Manager will also provide oversight on the alignment and continuity of content on all social and digital platforms.Essential Functions: Collaborate with the Social Media team and its content agenda and other organic activityFacilitate the creative direction of engagement content for Marlins and Marlins Baseball brands, including entertainment content for both shorter form and longer form digital mediumsDevelop plans for and organize engagement content pre-production, including project purpose, budgets, timelines, and creator resources as well as storyboards, shoot locations and featured participants as requiredConsult on concepts and the digital production of brand and show content for Marlins and loanDepot parkConsult with Partnership team on digital content concepts for brand partner entitlement and integration Work with Marketing director to align social media activity with Marlins Promotional Calendar.Qualifications & Requirements:Proficiency in social media strategy, as well an ability to produce timely and engaging content around live events and other notable content opportunities Experience in line producing both live and taped showsAbility to oversee and manage scripts, live tapings, and postproductionExperience editing with applications such as Avid, Final Cut or Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop)Skill in the use of social media platforms, popular listening tools, and industry-standard publishing toolsFamiliarity with media planning preferred Experience with digital advertising is a plus Collaborative team player able to work with a variety of departments and different personalitiesStrong organizational, time-management, verbal and written communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to present ideas clearly and concisely in-person and through planning documentsAbility to function in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adhere to deadlinesCoachable and possesses a positive attitude; able to handle creative direction/feedbackAbility to maintain a flexible work schedule (holidays, weekends, evenings)Highly self-motivatedSuggested Education & Experience Guidelines:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR, Communications or related field of studyA minimum of 5 years professional work experience in digital production, content development, live TV or related fieldsProficient computer skills including Microsoft OfficeBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
