We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR Benefits Analyst to join our team The Human Resources Benefits Analyst will serve as the primary contact for employees, retirees, plan vendors and third-party administrators for benefit programs including all insurance and related plans (health, dental, vision, life/AD&D, critical illness, accident, long term care, employee assistance program, and tax-free flexible spending). In this role, you will leverage your strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage benefit program administration, conduct in-depth audits, and ensure financial compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other related duties may be required and assigned.

  1. Conduct thorough audits of benefit plan bills and reconcile general ledger (GL) accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  2. Demonstrated success as a meticulous record-keeper with superior organizational skills and detail-orientation.
  3. Conducts annual enrollment meetings and trainings as needed.
  4. Communicate effectively with benefit vendors to clarify billing inquiries, and ensure contract adherence.
  5. Maintain strong working relationships with HR leadership, finance, and department heads, to provide expert guidance and support on benefits matters.
  6. Develops annual budgets for benefit and payroll components.
  7. Stay up-to-date on relevant benefit regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring the company operates within legal and ethical frameworks.
  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proven experience in analyzing and reconciling benefit plan bills and GL accounts.
  • Excellent knowledge of HRIS systems and report building (UKG)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefits plans and related federal and state regulations including but not limited to ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, and DOL/IRS defined contributions retirement programs.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word required.
  • Positive attitude as well as professional demeanor and consultative approach
  • Strong auditing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to:
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships and confidentiality.
  • Ability to look at things from a strategic lens and translate them into Human Resources processes while creating a positive business impact.
  • Strong relationship building skills to influence change and decision making at all levels.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with advanced problem-solving capabilities.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR Benefits, accounting, or a similar role.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Physical/Safety Requirements:
  • Tolerate extended periods of sitting at desk.
  • Ambient noise is louder than a traditional office setting.
