We have a new role open for a Senior Accountant supporting the Building Construction Products (BCP) division. In this role, you will be an essential partner and financial advisor to the Division CFO, Division Strategy Director, and Senior Vice President of the division. You will help support the strategic direction of the division and the communication of that strategy to the Executive Office and other business partners.

What You Will Do:
  • Participate and provide input for strategy development of the division to improve accountable profit results
  • Provide support to BCP leadership team for various strategic meetings including quarterly leadership meetings and annual Executive Office and Operation reviews
  • Partner with the business, through providing meaningful and timely insights & analysis, to understand results and drive improved financial performance
  • Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures providing guidance to others in the business
  • Drive standardization, simplification and efficiencies in finance processes
What You Have:
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Organizational Governance: Knowledge of the processes, customs, policies, and rules affecting the way the organization is administered and controlled; ability to ensure compliance with governance guidelines and policies.
  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
  • Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.
Top Candidates Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline
  • Progressive Accounting or Finance related experience
  • CPA, CMA, or equivalent
Additional Info:
  • The location for this position is in Cary, NC
  • This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office
  • Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify
  • Sponsorship is not available
  • International and Domestic travel up to 5%
